'WALK OF SHAME'
SPRING SUMMER 2018 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION RUNWAY SHOW

 

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Nick studied in the UK for five years before moving to New York to study Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design. Having lived in three of the best cities in the world, his work is inspired by every aspect of these cities, from the dynamic people there, to the vigorous environment, to the hustle and bustle of the streets. Founded in New York, NICKLAU is a Women’s Ready to Wear label that introduces its inaugural Spring/Summer 2018 collection at Ko Shing Gallery. The collection entitled ‘WALK OF SHAME’ is based on the idea of a young New York party girl that went on a night out, and ended up in a random guy’s house, and hence having to grab pieces from his wardrobe to mix with her outfit from the previous night. The juxtaposition of elegant feminine styles with sporty masculine textures creates a striking contrast of what it means to be a modern city girl today.
